How is average speed calculated?
You may notice an inconsistency between the average speed displayed and the actual average speed.
Please note that there is a difference between the average pace (on the app) and the average speed (on the website).
The average pace is more important because it takes into account and deducts your break times.
The average speed does not include your stops in its calculation. So the figure is lower.
This explains the possible inconsistencies in the number of km if you calculate your own average.
